Multi-platinum saxophonist Boney James’ album Contact has been nominated for a Soul Train Music award in the Contemporary Jazz category. In addition to the nomination, Boney will also be participating with other high profile artists in a Gladys Knight Tribute. This year’s show will tape in Atlanta on November 17, but will air in simulcast on both Centric and BET on November 27 at 9pm/8c.
