One of the most difficult things growing up in a single parent home was not knowing if/when your dad was going to see you. Mom and dad split for whatever reason, and you’re left wondering when is dad coming around. If the parents don’t have a friendly relationship or downright hate each other [they did split], there’s no telling when the kids will see their father. The parents might not even want to be in the same room, and if they’re being selfish, will keep as far away as possible. This usually means dad doesn’t get to see his kids as often as he likes. But times are changing, and technology makes it much easier to avoid those awkward moments.
