Ma Barker is poised to release forthcoming album “Mark of The Bark” September, 2012 on her label imprint Gwop Girls Entertainment, iTunes global and all reputable web portals.

Barker, formerly “Shaqueen” and widely remembered as the former wife to God Father of hip-hop, Kool G. Rap, kicked off her career as an emcee 15 years ago battling and defeating artists, which led to recording entirely self-written songs in the late ‘90s. This caught the ear of Cold Chillin’ record label president Fly Ty, and Mighty of Mighty Entertainment. Her solo career took off after featuring on Levert’s platinum record “Breaking My Heart” off his Love and Consequences album, after which her record “Just Because” hit Billboard charts, where it remained for 20 weeks at number 15.

1.      What can people look forward to when they see the name International 5 and if you could describe your sound, what would it be?

People can look for great music, A super talented musician that express music from the soul. Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Scarface, all in one. I believe that if given the chance I will be a key player in the game

2.      Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, do you feel any pressure that comes with knowing that some of the best lyricists in Hip-Hop have come from Brooklyn?

Samsung Tech to Look Forward to for the Holiday

I got a chance to look at some cool stuff Samsung has out right now that is pretty lust-worthy. The Galaxy S3 is sort of a beast, the note is pretty much a tablet if you ask me, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a sexier TV. Below are my impressions of those devices.

Samsung S3 and Note

These two devices are pretty similar in that they both make and receive phone calls. Other than that, they have pretty stark differences. The Galaxy S3 is quicker, with a faster CPU speed, more up to date OS (Ice Cream Sandwich), and to me, just plain sexier. However, the Note is no slouch with it’s stylus and huge display at 5.3 inches. Depending on your aesthetic tastes, I’d say either is a pretty good bargain if you don’t mind Samsung’s Touchflo skin on top of stock Android.
