(Jan. 29, 2014) — The 2014 GRAMMY® Nominees album – jointly released by Atlantic Records and The Recording Academy®‘s GRAMMY Recordings® – has debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200/SoundScan album chart. This marks the highest-ever debut in the 20-year history of the annual GRAMMY collection. In addition, the album has hit No. 1 at iTunes and Amazon. On the international front, the album debuted today at No. 1 in Canada, while topping the iTunes charts in numerous countries around the world.
Gloria Estefan’s The Standards Receives Two GRAMMY Award Nominations
International superstar Gloria Estefan was among those nominated for the prestigious GRAMMY award. Her most recent album, The Standards, was nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Co-producer/arranger Shelly Berg was also nominated for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s) for the song What A Wonderful World.
