Grammy Award-Winning Engineer Wants to “Mix” Your Record

BMI PRESENTS: MIXED BY DURO  Six-Time Grammy Award-Winning Mix Engineer Ken ‘Duro’ Ifill To Add Midas Touch to BMI Affiliate’s Song Duro’s credits include Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Fabolous and the #1 record “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z featuring Alicia Keys WHO:Broadcast Music Inc. WHAT:BMI Presents: Mixed By Duro, a contest for BMI-affiliated songwriters/producers to submit a song for professional mixing by six-time Grammy Award-winning mix engineer Ken “Duro” Ifill. A BMI executive, using input from Duro, who is CEO of Desert Storm Records, will pick five top submissions and choose one winner, who will also receive a Lexicon MPX Native Reverb Plug-in. Song submissions must have a contributing BMI writer with at least 1/3 ownership of the work.
