Critical Praise for Roach Gigz:

“The funniest rapper working” – The New York Times

“Roach’s new Bitch, I’m A Player EP is a lot of fun, a high-energy onslaught of sex-brags and self-deprecating jokes… It’s a nice little portrait of a rapper dizzily in love with the art of rapping, and with the places that his gift can take him.” – Pitchfork

“Here’s to the new age of rap. And Roach Gigz. Who is awesome.” – The FADER

The Tour:

Roach Gigz is excited to announce his forthcoming headline tour, The Bugged Out Tour. The Bugged Out Tour, kicking off September 7th in San Francisco, will be Roach’s second headlining tour in 2012, and will follow the release of Roach’s official debut album, Bugged Out, in August. Starting today, three Fan Club Bundles, priced between $25 and $60, will allow fans to pre-purchase show tickets along with three exclusive t-shirts. Fan Club Bundles can be purchased via Roach Gigz’ website.

Earlier this year, Roach Gigz headlined his first tour, the Can I Rap Tour, taking him to cities across the West Coast. And while the tour was a great first experience for Roach, he’s looking forward to taking everything up a notch with The Bugged Out Tour. “My tour earlier this year was my first time headlining — it was a stepping stone,” says Roach. “I’m looking forward to everything being bigger and better this time around.”

The Bugged Out Tour will also bring a handful of first-time experiences for Roach on the road, including a special hometown performance and a debut performance in Los Angeles, at the famed venueThe Roxy, on September 13th. “I’m looking forward to doing Slim’s in San Francisco; it’s going to be my first headlining show in San Francisco,” says Roach, adding that he’s also especially looking forward to return dates in Chico and Santa Cruz. “This is also going to be my first time playing in Los Angeles, so I’m really looking forward to that show.”

And while the tour is offering Roach a number of exciting experiences, what he’s most looking forward to is connecting with fans – and performing for them music from his forthcoming debut album, Bugged Out. “I’m going to be playing a bunch of the new music from Bugged Out on the tour,” he says. “I always do the hits, but this time I’m just looking forward to trying out the new music for fans.”

Now, after two successful Roachy Balboa mixtapes, a mtvU Freshmen 5 victory and a MTV2 Sucker Free feature under his belt, Roach has just released his latest mixtape, Bitch, I’m A Player. Roachy recently made his first four projects available for the first time in CD format for a limited time at http://roachgigz.com/. Roach’s next project will be his official debut album Bugged Out due in early summer.
