Event Overview:
On October 11th, 2012, students from 18 high schools from Newark, NJ, will gather at Malcolm X. Shabazz High School Stadium to be empowered, motivated, and educated. Motivational speaker, Jay Morrison aka Mr. Real Estate along with Power 105.1’s Charlamagne Tha God and special guests, will launch the Project Culture Change Youth Empowerment Concert. Underserved youth will be treated to a FREE, dynamic and empowering presentation that will arm them with a set of life skills like no other. Topics of discussion include “Real Life vs. Entertainment”, “You Only Live Once!”, “Projecting a Positive Image” and more. The event will provide the necessary tools to assist our youth in creating their own success stories. The finale will be a live performance from one of their favorite Hip Hop/R&B artists. What is better than that?
