MASTERMIND ARRIVES IN STORES MARCH 4th ON MAYBACH MUSIC GROUP/DEF JAM RECORDINGS

(February 26, 2014  – New York, NY)  Starting today for the next week, Grammy®-nominated hip-hop magnate Rick Ross will make his new album MASTERMIND available in its entirety as an iTunes Radio First Play exclusive: iTunesRadio.com/RickRoss

MASTERMIND, Ross’ sixth album on the Maybach Music Group/Def Jam Recordings imprint, will officially arrive in stores next week on March 4th.  On March 5th, Ross will be the special musical guest on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.

MASTERMIND contains the new track “Nobody” featuring French Montana, a tribute to the late Notorious B.I.G.  It follows  “The Devil Is A Lie” featuring Jay-Z.  Last night’s performance of “Devil” made Tonight Show history as Ross became the  first rap artist to perform on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon from it’s new NYC studios.

MASTERMIND is the follow-up to Ross’ 2012 album God Forgives, I Don’t, which sold 220,000 copies in its first week, his fourth album to debut at #1 Soundscan, and his biggest first week sales to date.  The album included top hits “Touch’N You” featuring Usher, “So Sophisticated” featuring Meek Mill, and fan favorite “Diced Pineapples” featuring Drake and Wale.  Ross previous best-selling albums include Port Of Miami (2006), Trilla (2008), and Deeper Than Rap (2009), all of which debuted at #1 Soundscan, and Teflon Don.
