appy Thursday my accomplishers of major goals! Welcome to the day that you put meaning to the phrase “Finish your breakfast” Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to finishing what you started! Imagine complaining about being hungry while sitting in front of a full plate of food… How serious do you think anyone would take you? Imagine dieing from thirst while sitting in a pool… Imagine gasping for air while nothing is impeding your breathing! This is exactly what happens when you set out on a promising goal but never finish! Statistics show that 70% of people who have goals never attempt them, and of the 30% that do, 20% never finish!! That leaves 10! Makes sure as you journey on your quest to be the best that you can possibly be that you are finishing what you started! Stop asking for more blessings when you have not done anything with the ones you were given already! You can either give 20% to five things or 100% to one at a time! We live in an abundant world so you are never going to be short of opportunities! It’s great to envision your next step but make sure that you are concentrating on the task at hand and completing it to the best of your abilities! As Alexander Graham Bell once said “Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.” Finish your breakfast! Live life to the fullest but
remember take it one step at a time!!
“There are two kinds of people, those who finish what they start and so on”
“Winning isn’t always finishing first. Sometimes winning is just finishing.”
“No matter how long it takes, If you keep moving, One step at a time, You will reach the finish line…”
“One step at a time is good walking”
“When you have a great and difficult task, something perhaps almost impossible, if you only work a little at a time, every day a little, suddenly the work will finish itself.”
“A house is built one brick at a time. Football games are won a play at a time. A department store grows bigger one customer at a time. Every big accomplishment is a series of little accomplishments.”
-David Joseph Schwartz
“When we are sure that we are on the right road there is no need to plan our journey too far ahead. No need to burden ourselves with doubts and fears as to the obstacles that may bar our progress. We cannot take more than one step at a time.”
-Orison Swett Marden
