Throughout his career, Raheem has become known for his socially conscious lyrics and commitment to a number of causes such as: HIV/AIDS Awareness, Domestic Violence, Mental Illness, Autism, Cancer, Education, Youth Programming, and Music & The Arts. The LoveLife Foundationis now an opportunity for him to impact the lives of others on a personal level.

Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr. Hits a Home Run with Town Hall Meeting

Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr. presented the town hall discussion: “African-American and Latino Family Crisis – “Do You Know Your Daddy?” at Cathedral International located 205 Smith Street in Perth Amboy, NJ.

 

Bishop HilliardRandal Pinkett and Bishop Hilliard, along with celebrated author Dr. Randal Pinkett, served as moderator  to a very diverse panel which consisted of selected celebrities and community activists. The panel included: Chris Broussard (NBA Analyst – ESPN) Tyrone Muhammad (Founder, Morticians That Care) Obery Hendricks, Jr. (Professor – New York Theological Seminary) Fredrica Bey (Executive Director WISOMM Holistic Preschool Center) Kevin E. Taylor (Elder and  Co-Founder – Unity Fellowship Church NewArk) and Esteban Santa (Pastor, Iglesia Cathedral Internacioinal).

 

Dr. Pinkett posed the question to the audience and panel “Do You Know Your Daddy?”  This powerful question catapulted the much needed open-ended discussion, and commenced an engaging, thought-provoking conversation about the dynamics of fatherless households in America, particularly for the African-American and Latin youth as well as the demise of community and family. Bis Returns On 6-10-14 with “Fait Accompli”

On June 10th 2014, Canibus will return with his latest LP, Fait Accompli, (translation- an accomplished fact; a thing already done: The enemy’sdefeatwasafaitaccomplilongbeforetheformalsurrender) on RBC Records and the project will feature guest-appearances from The 4 Horsemen (Ras Kass, Killah Priest & Kurupt), Crooked I (Slaughterhouse) & Tragedy Khadafi.  Fait Accompli will be released in two different versions, a retail version consisting of 17-tracks and a deluxe edition which will include 23-tracks (6-bonus tracks).
