Los Angeles, CA (October 15, 2014) – Los Angeles Clipper, and 7-time NBA All Star, Chris Paul will host the CP3 Foundation’s Celebrity Server Dinner on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills (246 N. Canon Drive) sponsored by Apollojets.   The fundraiser, which begins at 5:30 pm, will honor two Los Angeles based organizations that work with children, L.A.’s BEST and Leaps n Boundz.

Television journalist Kevin Frazier will emcee the festivities and celebrities including Mark Wahlberg, Matt Kemp (L.A. Dodgers), Jerry Ferrara, Blake Griffin (L.A. Clippers) and DeAndre Jordan (L.A. Clippers) will join Paul as celebrity servers to raise funds that will benefit Paul’s CP3 Foundation, LA’s BEST and Leaps n Boundz. In addition the evening will feature a performance by violinist Lee England.

 

“L.A.’s BEST and Leaps n Boundz represent what the CP3 Foundation is all about,” stated Paul. “L.A.’s BEST’s Afterschool Enrichment program has been serving the children in Los Angeles for the past 26 years. Their program is currently offered in 195 schools.   Leaps n Boundz is committed to enriching the lives of children and young adults with disabilities to insure that they receive the therapeutic benefits of physical activity and play. We are honored to have these organizations as partners and we hope that this event will be successful in supporting their continued efforts.”

About Leaps n Boundz

Leaps n Boundz is an adaptive sports and recreation program for children and young adults with special needs. Our programs enable kids with special needs to experience the thrill of refining their limits in a safe and supportive environment. We offer programs in gymnastics, swimming and ball skills (one-on-one and in small groups) as well as social skills groups and day camps. Our dedicated counselors are experts in child development, occupational therapy, recreation therapy, kinesiology, biology and education. We also organize leisure activities and weekend trips to provide opportunities to experience rafting, surfing, camping, sporting events and other fun activities together.
