Actress Angela Robinson to Serve as Veterans Day Event’s Keynote Speaker
Best known as the “Ice Queen” ‘Veronica Harrington’ of Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and The Have Nots” (OWN TV), Actress Angela Robinson will serve as Keynote Speaker at the “3rd Annual Women Veterans & Women in the Military Veterans Day Extravaganza”.
Hosted by Women Veterans Interactive, the fundraising event, set to take place in Washington, DC., November 9-11, is expected to host its largest audience with ticket sales soaring! Attendees will include women in the military, women veterans and other celebrity supporters such as Tasha Smith, Renee Lawless, Kim Coles and many more! While fans of the show brace for a new season and more “Ice Queen antics” from Robinson’s character, attendees of the event will be treated to her words of inspiration and encouragement, geared to increasing the knowledge of and focus on overcoming the many challenges faced by women veterans.
Robinson, whose father was a Veteran, shares, “I am so excited about spending time with our heroes, our Veterans. My father was a vet and I have always been so proud of his service; so much so, I traveled the world entertaining the troops with the U.S.O. and D.O.D. for several years. It’s the least I could do for those who give and sacrifice so much. I’m looking forward to another chance to say Thank You!!”
“We are overjoyed, honored and humbled to have the support of Angela Robinson for our 3rd Annual Women Veterans and Women in the Military Extravaganza”shares Ginger Miller, Founder and CEO of Women Veterans Interactive. “We look forward to her Keynote address on Veterans Day. It is just as critically important to have support from women who have not served in the military, as it is to have the support of women veterans. We are women first, joining together in sisterhood, service and sacrifice.”
