Hollywood Leading Man Pens Novel, Heads Out on Book Tour

The novel is a thrilling, sexy, heartfelt and often funny story which follows Amp Anthony, a ruggedly handsome and resourceful young man seeking redemption from his past to redefine his future.
Christian Keyes is a hardworking veteran actor who has been described by filmmaker Tyler Perry as: “One of the most consistent male actors I’ve worked with.” Named one of the 50 most eligible bachelor’s in the country by Ebony magazine, Keyes has appeared in more than 20 films, 40 stage productions, 1,200 theatrical shows and 10 national television commercials (Tide, Nike, Acura, NCAA, Little Caesars and more). He is also a talented singer whose powerful stage presence has led him to share the stage with top names such as Brian McKnight, , Shirley Murdock, Anthony Hamilton, Lyfe Jennings, Avant, David & Tamela Mann, Jennifer Holiday and Vivica Fox, to name a few. Keyes has released 2 full length CD’s of his original music (“Day By Day” and “Personal).
Christian Keyes can currently be seen as one of the stars of the BET series “Let’s Stay Together” and began his career as a leading man in films such as “Dysfunctional Friends,” “Note To Self,” “Black Coffee,” and the Tyler Perry hits “Madea Goes to Jail” and “What’s Done in the Dark.”
Adding “action hero” to his moniker, Keyes is currently shooting the action adventure film “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” (from Tri Destined Studios and Carl Weber’s Urban Books Media) in which he stars as lead actor and is being dubbed the “urban Jason Bourne.”
Keyes’ novel, LADIES NIGHT, focuses on struggling ex-felon Amp Anthony as he turns to exotic dancing as a last resort in making ends meet and putting his life back together. While Keyes was never a paid professional exotic dancer like his character, he did grow up in Flint Michigan and moved from home -to- home in the Flint Foster Care system. Keyes has as many horror stories from his childhood as fond memories; however like his lead character, he was determined to succeed and overcome his tumultuous past.
Keyes will hit the road on the first leg of his book tour for LADIES NIGHT which kicks off in Concord, NC on Wednesday, December 3.
