Red Bull Sound Select Presents New York
Curated by Brooklyn Bodega
On Monday, October 28th, Brooklyn Bodega will be curating their final Red Bull Sound Select New York Showcase for 2013. Over the past year, Red Bull Sound Select New York has given Brooklyn Bodega the opportunity to explore the music world outside of the Hip-Hop genre we’re so well known for. While keeping true to our Hip-Hop roots with acts such as Sean Price, DyMe-A-DuZin and Children Of The Night, we’ve been able to bring talent such as The Internet, F.Stokes, Jade ❤ and others to the Red Bull Sound Select Showcases.  We’ve strived to open up an entire world of Funk, R&B and electro soul to our Bodega Fam. With July just a few days away, and the 8th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (BHF) approaching, Brooklyn Bodega is excited to highlight our upcoming week of BHF’12 events. Each is different, from a MC competition to some inspired discussion panels to a celebration of DJ culture to our inaugural Film Festival to a day of family-centric activities, but the underlying goal is the same, using unique entertainment to celebrate Hip-Hop culture.

“Each year, Brooklyn Bodega works to put together a week of events that fully represent Hip-Hop culture. Creating programming for each event can sometimes be difficult but our team has once again worked toward putting together events that celebrate what is dynamic about our culture.
