Eminem and Shady Records will celebrate the label’s 15th anniversary with its fifteenth release: ShadyXV, a two-CD compilation featuring an album of the label’s greatest hits, including classics such as 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” plus an album of new material from Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf as well as special guest-artist collaborations. ShadyXV (Shady Records/Interscope Records), set for release November 24, 2014, will be preceded by a new Eminem single, “Guts Over Fear.” The song features Sia and was produced by Emile Haynie (Grammy winner for Best Rap Album for Eminem’s Recovery) and John Hill.
The single is featured in the Sony Pictures’ film, the Anton Fuqua-directed “The Equalizer.” Read more…

Game will be hitting cities nationwide this fall on tour in support of his R.E.D. Album, which debuted #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart the week of its release.
The R.E.D. album, said to dually stand for Game’s “REDedication” to rap and family, showcases production from Dr. Dre and DJ Premier and features from established south region stunners Big Boi, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross and west coast collaborations with Snoop Dogg, E-40 and scorching newcomers Kendrick Lamar and Odd Future’s Tyler the Creator.
The R.E.D. Album is Game’s fourth album to debut #1 on Hip-Hop/Rap album chart and his third on the Top 200 chart. Game’s platinum selling debut, The Documentary, was released on Aftermath/G-Unit/Interscope Records in 2005 and produced a two-time Grammy nominated single, “Hate It or Love It,” which reached #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart. Platinum music producer/rapper Soopafly has completed recording his new studio album, tentatively titled Best Kept Secret. The rapper, who is currently on Tour in Europe with Snoop Dogg, hasn’t pencilled in an exact release date for the follow-up to 2007’s Bangin West Coast, but is expected to release the disc in the fall.
Platinum selling R&B songstress Jewell, real name Jewell Caples, a regular fixture in the Los Angeles music scene, is preparing to release a brand new book, and album this fall. The former Death Row Records singer will release a full length studio album entitled, “Blood, Sweat & Tears”, in conjunction with the release of the book, through Best Hand Entertainment.
Jewell was signed to Death Row Records from 1992-1996, and one of the original members of the former Hip-Hop powerhouse label. She released a video and hit single “Woman to Woman”, which reached #72 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was featured singing vocals on many of Death Row’s releases including Snoop Dogg’s“Gin and Juice” and Dr. Dre’s “Let Me Ride”. Her contributions to the legendary albums, Chronic, Doggystyle, and 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me, helped revolutionize a sound in the early 90’s, and quickly established her as one of the most distinctive voices in urban music.
