On Wednesday, President Obama, former Presidents Clinton and Carter, and many others will honor the 50th anniversary of the legendary March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. They will pay homage to the preeminent civil rights leader of our time, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and reflect upon his character and sacrifices for the greater good of humanity. But in the midst of the commemoration, one central foundation to King’s teachings will likely be ignored: his intense opposition to war. New York, NY, August 28, 2013 – On Friday, August 23, 2013, Trinidad was featured in the Hip Hop Improv Show – TAKE IT PERSONAL presented by Hot 97’s Cipha Sounds and Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), the top improv theatre and school in NYC. Improvisers from Cipha Sounds’ team “A Tribe Called YES” (Anthony Atamanuik, Brandon Gardner, Lydia Hensler, Phil Jackson, Neil Casey, Laura Wilcox, Christian Capozzoli, and Cipha Sounds) reenacted stories originally told by Trinidad James.During the show rapper Trinidad James told an epic story about he had to move his bowels in a bag per the “Don’t shit on the tour bus rule.” “Trinidad has been a fan of the show for a long time. He knew exactly what to do. He killed it better than anyone so far. His story about Luis Guzman not taking a picture with him almost made me piss my pants.,” said Cipha Sounds.
