Hot 97’s Cipha Sounds & Drewski to Host Equality Charter School’s Bowl for Equality Fundraiser!      Save the Date! Sunday, November 9th in NYC New York, NY, October 29, 2014 – Equality Charter School announced today that its Fourth Annual Bowl for Equality Fundraiser will be on November 9th at Lucky Strike in Manhattan 624-660 West 42nd Street, New York, NY.   The event will feature Cipha Sounds and Drewski from Hot 97 as hosts. Cipha Sounds, celebrity radio DJ and MTV host, grew up in the Bronx and is passionate about supporting students from his home borough. His passion is to inspire young people to succeed in school and pursue their dreams. Cipha and his team are supporting Equality by raising awareness about the school and the important progress being made with their scholars.   Activities include bowling for two hours, ping pong and pool table games for the full four hours. Hot 97’s Cipha Sounds -Cipha Sounds is an actor, DJ, radio personality, and comedian. He is on Hot 97 Monday through Friday 3pm-7pm on “Until Further Notice,” “The More Fire Mix” at midnight, as well as on Saturdays 5pm-7pm. He has carved out a distinct voice in music and comedy over the past 15 years. Past work includes official DJ for Lil Kim and Mos Def, host of Sucker Free and TRL on MTV, and resident DJ for Chapelle’s Show. He most recently starred in VH1’s This is Hot 97.
